Between 6 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 23 and 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24, North Battleford RCMP received approximately 36 calls for service.
Sunday, Aug. 23
• Someone reported a break and enter in progress at her neighbour’s house on 102nd Street at 8:30 a.m. and it turned out to be the new neighbour moving in earlier than expected.
• Officers attended a residence on 34th Street in Battleford around 12:30 p.m. to assist with an intoxicated male at that address who was causing problems.
• An assault was reported on Sweetgrass First Nation at 1:54 p.m. and an investigation is ongoing.
• North Battleford Fire Department advised the RCMP that there was a shed on fire on 97th Street at 3:11 p.m. There was no one injured in the fire and no other structures were affected.
• There was a report of an assault on the 1600 block of 102nd Street at 3:41 p.m. One person had minor injuries and no one involved was cooperative with officers in talking about what had happened.
• There was a complaint from a business on Railway Avenue at 8:56 p.m. of a theft. The investigation is ongoing.
Monday, Aug. 24
• A vehicle was broken into on the 1000 block of 112th Street overnight and items were stolen out of it.
• There was a report that a garage had been broken into on the 900 block of 113th Street.
• A vehicle was broken into overnight on Thomas Avenue.
• There was a complaint on Meighan Crescent that someone had broken into their vehicle during the night.
In addition, there were seven disturbances reported, four traffic complaints, one nuisance 911 call and one person reported missing that has already been located.
