Cheryl Cook-Taylor will assume the role of operations manager for North Battleford Housing Authority (NBHA) March 1.
"We are very excited to welcome Cheryl to our team," Murray Greenwood, NBHA chairperson said. "Having been general manager of Frontier Mall since 1996, she brings a wealth of property management experience to NBHA. Cheryl is well rooted in the community and knows the local agencies and services available to assist our clients.
"We look forward to her contributions as we provide safe, adequate, and affordable housing to the residents of the Battlefords."
Cook-Taylor will work along with 14 other staff members at NBHA and will manage the Tenant Relations and Maintenance departments. Previous operations manager, Phyllis Ferguson, moved to a new position as housing authority manager in Lloydminster.
NBHA, in partnership with Battleford Housing Authority, manages 623 rental units in the city of North Battleford and the town of Battleford.
