The Saskatoon Historical Case Unit of the RCMP completed its search of the North Saskatchewan river Thursday.
The search consisted of following the river from North Battleford to Nipawin with the use of the RCMP helicopter and ground support. The helicopter followed the river system and circled around islands along the way to ensure a thorough search was conducted.
In total, 907 kilometres of river was searched during this operation. Unfortunately, no bodies were located.
