Saturday, Sept. 26 at 6:35 a.m. the Battlefords RCMP responded to a complaint of an armed robbery at 7-Eleven located on the 1700 block of 100th Street in North Battleford and have released images from the store's surveillance tape.
The initial investigation revealed that an adult male, dressed in a red hooded jacket worn backwards, blue jeans with light brown or tan boots and with his face covered, entered the business armed with a long barrelled firearm and demanded cash from an employee while pointing the firearm at them.
The suspect then fled out the front door heading south in the alleyway between 100th and 101st Streets with an undisclosed amount of cash.
One other customer and three employees were at the business at the time of the incident and were not injured.
