Snow clearing of the streets is not letting up in North Battleford, not even for the Remembrance Day holiday.
In a news release the city states that its Roadway Department has "been busy clearing snow from priority streets since Saturday, November 7th. The amount of snowfall was so great that the Roadways Department will perform residential snow removal on Remembrance Day, without holiday break. Snow removal will continue throughout the week."
The city is asking residents to remove their vehicles from the streets during their on-street parking restriction time, to help ensure snow plow equipment can effectively clear snow from the streets.
