North Battleford Library

The North Battleford Public Library is closing indefinitely effective Friday, March 20.

The announcement is being made as a precaution to limit the community spread of COVID-19.

According to the library’s notice posted on social media, they do not know when the library will reopen.

At this time the building is closed and all programming is cancelled. The after hours return bin will remain open 24 hours a day seven days a week. All late fees that accumulate between March 13 and April 24 will be waived. Holds cannot be requested for material outside Lakeland Library Region. If you have holds, they will be waiting for six weeks on their shelves and be available for pickup when the branch reopens.

Library staff will be available by phone, email and Facebook messages between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., and the library is encouraging patrons to use digital library resources. Library cards give access to online resources available through apps or lakelandlibrary.ca/eresources.
