We may be into January, but the city of North Battleford is reporting they haven’t received enough snow for grooming decent ski trails yet.
City communications coordinator Susanne Abe is reporting that ski trails in the city and on Finlayson Island are currently not recommended for use, as they are ice sheets or, in some areas, just grass.
Abe is saying another six inches of snow will be needed “in order to properly groom the trails to make them usable again,” she states.
The city is also advising that on Monday, Jan. 8 between 8 am-8 pm, the 900 block of 105th Street & 900 block alley way between 104th & 105th Street is being closed for the demolition of 941 105th Street.
