NW competitors share in prize money

Several Northwest exhibitors shared in the $100,000 in prize money offered during the Lloydminster Exhibition Association Colonial Days livestock shows that wrapped up July 12.

Several Northwest exhibitors shared in the $100,000 in prize money offered during the Lloydminster Exhibition Association Colonial Days livestock shows that wrapped up July 12.

In the Classic Steer Stake, Cassidy Serhienko of Maymont showed the reserve champion steer.

The grand champion bull calf in the Junior All Breed Beef Show was shown by Jarrett Sroka of Maidstone.

Heeroma Sheep Farm of Neilburg took home two prizes in the Sheep Show - grand champion ewe lamb and reserve champion ram lamb. Laura Carruthers of Frenchman Butte showed the reserve champion ewe lamb.

Coming out on top in the heavy horse classes were Duhaime's Belgians of Paynton. Their animals earned supreme champion Belgian, grand champion Belgian stallion abd Fisk's Ultimate Supreme Champion.
