Approximately 13 calls for service/occurrences were dealt with by Battlefords RCMP between 6 a.m. Sunday, March 9 and 6 a.m. Monday, March 10.
Among those calls were three false alarms
Sunday
11:23 a.m. - Car reported stolen from a residence on Clark Drive. The stolen car was ared 2000 Grand Am. Doors were unlocked, keys inside the unlocked house. Vehicle was later returned by person believed to have taken it.
12:15 p.m. - Woman requesting police assistance to collect her belongings from her boyfriend's residence. Police dealt with this situation.
2:22 p.m. - Report of an erratic driver on Highway 4 south. Patrols made and vehicle was not located.
6:53 p.m. - Report of a26-year-old man in an emotionally disturbed statewas taken into custody under the mental health act. This male was admitted to Battleford union Hospital for treatment.
10:00 p.m. - Report of an assault on the 1700 block of Trudeau Street. Police attended and determined that there had been an argument regarding rent owed. This matter was dealt with and parties agreed to deal with this matter civilly.
10:39 p.m. - Report of a truck stolen from the parking lot of the liquor store. An 18-year-old male and 17-year-old female were arrested and charged in relation to this theft. Police are thanking the quick response of a member of the public who made observations of this vehicle and reported it immediately allowing police to make a timely arrest.
11:37 p.m. - Report of a youth who was intoxicated andin breach of court imposed release conditions. Youth not located, investigation continuing.
11:40 p.m. - A highly intoxicated56-year-old male was arrested at a residence on the 800 block of 108th Street for causing a disturbance.
