One perpetrator wearing a hospital gown

Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 30 incidents between 6 a.m. - Tuesday and 6 a.m. - Wednesday. Four individuals were arrested for public intoxication and two were charged under the Liquor Act.

Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 30 incidents between 6 a.m. - Tuesday and 6 a.m. - Wednesday.


Four individuals were arrested for public intoxication and two were charged under the Liquor Act. They also answered five alarm calls, all of which were found to be false. Several calls related to erratic and dangerous driving.


Tuesday


12:37 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision at intersection of Territorial Drive and Douglas Avenue. No injuries reported and traffic was restricted for a brief period of time as the scene was cleared. Road conditions at the time were very icy.


1:40 p.m. - 47-year-old woman arrested after complaint of intoxicated persons causing a disturbance on 101st Street. Suspect found to have outstanding warrants and facing a new charge of obstruction. To appear in North Battleford Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 6.


1:50 p.m. - Break and enter reported to a vacant residence on 1100 block of 108th Street. Nothing damaged or missing. Suspect described as wearing a hospital gown.


10:02 p.m. - Noise Bylaw warning associated to loud individuals at residence on Winder Crescent.


11:26 p.m. - Call to 900 block of 103rd Street of an injured male who had been assaulted. Visible facial and head injuries noted. Male was taken to hospital for medical treatment, but refused to co-operate with any police investigation.


Wednesday


12:27 a.m. - Disturbance call to a residence on Winder Crescent. Intoxicated man causing issues at residence. A 62-year-old man was taken to another safe location and released to prevent further issues.


12:27 a.m. - Unknown male at a business on 1700 block of 100th Street, asking staff for drugs to buy and then doing a very bad job of trying to covertly steal things. Subject ran from scene when police were called and did not leave with any stolen property. Patrols for subject negative.


12:40 a.m. - Checks on 26-year-old man for probation conditions at a residence on 1200 block of 112th Street. Man not located and charges are pending.


1:45 a.m. - Unwanted guests at a home on 500 block of 103rd Street. Both left voluntarily after police contacted.


3:49 a.m. - The same 26-year-old man from earlier probation check, now at a residence on 1000 block of 104th Street. Members advised of a fight at that location, two men known to each other appear to have gotten into a physical altercation then both left in separate vehicles. The second male was reported to be suffering from possible stab wounds. He was located a short time later at the hospital being treated with what appear to have been self inflicted injuries. The 26-year-old man remains at large.
