Saturday marked the first anniversary of the Capitol Theatre’s re-opening under Magic Lantern ownership, and the theatre opened their doors that morning to the public for free to take part in their anniversary celebration. The day included free popcorn samples, raffle draws, a silent auction of movie posters as well as the sale of other posters for $2 each. Their mascot Rainbow Bear made a special guest appearance. Inside, trailers were running of upcoming movies on the cinema screen.
