There were more than 20 reports/calls for service to the Battlefords RCMP from Monday, Dec. 23 6 a.m. to Tuesday, Dec. 24, 6 a.m. There were two alarm calls, both confirmed false, and two false/nuisance 911 calls.

6:13 a.m. - 911 call, caller reporting being trapped outside and the bus he is waiting for is late.Very high windchill values at the time of this call. Members attended and confirmed subject was safe as bus had arrived in the interim.
9:07 a.m. - Members dispatched to Territorial Drive West to euthanize a deer which had been struck by a passing vehicle and had sustained serious injuries.One round was fired by the member west of the city.
9:55 a.m. - Single vehicle collision at junctions of Highway 16 and Highway 40.Vehicle hit a patch of ice, lost control and struck a stop sign.No injuries and minimal damage to vehicle.No charges pursued.
5:36 p.m. - Third party complaint of an assault on 16th Avenue.Limited details provided and matter remains under investigation.
6:18 p.m. - Single vehicle collision reported on Highway 16 bypass.No injuries.Lost control of vehicle due to icy road conditions.
6:46 p.m. - Two youth reported missing/running away from a care home.Youth ages 11 and 13 were located a short time later.
7:27 p.m. - Reported fraud, complainant received a bad cheque for property sold.
7:51 p.m. - 911 call to a residence on 92nd Street of an assault.All parties at location known to each other.No arrests, matter still under investigation.
10:48 p.m. - Suspicious possibly intoxicated male on Centennial Crescent at complainant's back fence.Patrols for subject negative.
Tuesday, Dec. 24
3:33 a.m. - Theft of a vehicle reported on 1600 block of 106th Street.Blue 2002 Honda Accord EX Series with Saskatchewan license 222 GSS stolen after vehicle was being warmed up.
5:33 a.m. - 911 call to residence on 100th Street of intoxicated male causing a disturbance.Matter mediated by members.
