North Battleford Fire has responded to a call about a possible oxygen tank on fire on the 1300 block of 96th Street on Friday.
On arrival it was found that the oxygen tube had caught fire, and damage was contained to the mattress where the tube went on fire. It was later determined that the fire was due to a lit cigarette being dropped onto the oxygen tube. One person was transported to hospital with minor burns.
