P.A. Police seize cocaine, weapons, and cash: Arrest three men

During an investigation, police seized cocaine, methamphetamine, a loaded handgun, ammunition, and more than $6,000 in cash. They raided a home and seized drug packaging materials, including multiple baggies and two functioning digital scales.

PRINCE ALBERT – Prince Albert Police’s Crime Reduction Team charged three men with drug trafficking and weapons offences following an investigation.

Modi Lako, 28, of Prince Albert, Yasin Ali, 27, of Edmonton, and Shyrell Nyack, 22, [residence unknown] were all charged with possession of the proceeds of crime, two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, careless use of a firearm, possession of a dangerous weapon, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Shyrell made his first appearance in Prince Albert court Monday.

The charges against the accused haven’t been tested in court.

During their investigation, police located cocaine, methamphetamine, a loaded handgun, ammunition, and more than $6,000 in cash during their investigation. After obtaining a search warrant, police raided a home in the 1900 block of 13 Street West in Prince Albert and located drug packaging materials, including multiple baggies and two functioning digital scales.
