LaChance’s body was found along the bush line in a field south of Victoria Hospital on Sept. 15, 1991. She was the mother of five children who were between the ages of four and 11 at the time of her murder.

“Jean’s family has spent years waiting for answers about what happened,” said Sgt. Kathy Edwardsen with the Prince Albert Police Service’s Missing Persons and Historical Crimes Unit.

“We know someone has information and we need them to tell the truth so Jean’s family can finally have closure. They deserve to know the truth.”

The Historical Crimes Unit continues to work with LaChance’s family to find answers, said Edwardsen.
