The shoulder lane of Highway 16 is closed at the site of a tractor-trailer accident.
Maidstone RCMP responded to a semi tractor-trailer unit towing two trailers that had rolled over at 1:36 p.m. The motor vehicle was eastbound on Highway 16 at Marshall.
Approximately 500-750 metres east of the Marshall weigh scales, the vehicle left the road and rolled into the south side of Highway 16 into the ditch. At this time there are no reported injuries. The cause is yet to be determined.
At report time there is only one occupant, the driver of the semi tractor-trailer unit involved.
Several emergency services vehicles and Saskatchewan Highway Transport Patrol-Commercial Vehicle Enforcement are on scene assisting in the investigation.
