HUMBOLDT — With a move to a new building east of Humboldt, Pattison Agriculture is anticipating a 25 per cent increase in their staff.

The transition to the new location, located on Highway 5, is expected to begin as early as December 2022.

“We’re pleased to be expanding and investing in the Humboldt community. This growth will bring in additional jobs, increasing our parts and service technician teams,” said Doug Tibben, president of Pattison Agriculture.

“Humboldt is a very strategic and important location for Pattison Ag and the Agriculture Industry. We look forward to serving the customers in the Humboldt area for years to come.”

The new facility will span over 30 acres, with over 51,000 square feet in the main building plus an additional 16,000 square feet of storage.  It will be equipped with an 18-bay shop and three overhead cranes.

The showroom will cover over 7,000 square feet to display new equipment, technology, parts, merchandise and more, and the training theatre will have a capacity to host over 50 people.

In a statement, the company said the new location was chosen to allow for larger equipment to be transported in and out.

“Priding ourselves on high-quality service technicians, these enhancements will increase efficiency and allow for larger equipment to be serviced. In addition, an inside wash bay will allow for a dedicated area to wash equipment all year round.”

Pattison Agriculture was formed in January 2017 through the merger of JayDee AgTech and Maple Farm Equipment. The company focuses on the retail of agriculture technology and agronomic services.
