Shaun Pete, 39, of the Richard area died Monday after an SUV hit a pedestrian on Highway 40.
Blaine Lake RCMP were called to the scene 30 kilometres east of Hafford at about 11:50 p.m.
Pete was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the three occupants of the vehicle - an adult male, an adult female and an infant - involved in the collision were not injured.
An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday in Saskatoon. The woman who was driving the vehicle involved in the collision remained on the scene after the collision and is not facing any charges.
