Permit values are up significantly in June compared to the same month in 2011, according to the latest building permits report from the City of North Battleford.
According to the June report, 17 permits were issued for $4,258,500, compared to 18 permits for $2,951,500.
The main spike is due to one new condo permit issued to Do All Holdings Ltd. for $1,556,000 on Henderson Avenue. That compared to nil in the category for June 2011.
There were also two new dwelling permits for $584,000, four garage/carports for $84,000, four residential alterations for $48,500, one new industrial for $90,000, two industrial alterations for $170,000 and one new sign permit for $1,000.
Two commercial alterations permits were issued for $1,725,000, both of those for the Battlefords and District Co-op reroofing project.
Overall, for the year through June, 66 permits have been issued for $19,468,900, compared to 63 for $38,324,100 last year.
