As long as the wind is not blowing toward the City, the City of North Battleford will be burning the wood pile at the Waste Management Facility today (Thurs. Jan. 23) starting sometime in the morning. This is an advisory that residents may notice smoke in that direction (west side) but need not be alarmed. The North Battleford Fire Department and appropriate government agencies have been notified.
