Police arrest 1 of 3 people who prompted emergency alert

Terrance Daigenault was arrested Wednesday night in Saskatoon but they are still searching for Allan Sanderson and Celine Charles

LA RONGE – La Ronge RCMP have arrested one of three people wanted after an emergency alert and lockdown Sunday in La Ronge, Air Ronge, and Lac La Ronge after police were shot at and multiple people arrested.  

Terrance Daigneault (also goes by Terrance Kenny) was arrested Wednesday evening at a business on Northridge Drive in Saskatoon. An adult woman was also arrested. No further charges have been laid.

Celine Charles and Allan Sanderson have not been located.

On Wednesday, the FSIN said they don't want to see continued violence and are working with the RCMP for a peaceful resolution for the wanted people.

Daigenault was wanted on multiple charges including two counts of attempted murder with firearm, discharge firearm with intent and possession of a weapon for a dangerous person.

Allan Sanderson, 36, of La Ronge is wanted for obstruction and unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle.

Charles and Sanderson haven’t been located and police are actively looking for them.

Police say if you see these two wanted individuals do not approach them and contact police immediately by calling 911 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.

No RCMP officers were injured during this incident and no other injuries have been reported to police.
