Many areas of the province are experiencing extreme weather conditions this morning that is affecting travel throughout the province. Here are some of the areas of concern: At Highway 11 near Lumsden, there are two semis jacknifed near exit C.

Many areas of the province are experiencing extreme weather conditions this morning that is affecting travel throughout the province.

Here are some of the areas of concern: At Highway 11 near Lumsden, there are two semis jacknifed near exit C. Visibility is extremely poor, ranging from zero to 200 metres. RCMP members from Lumsden and Craik are also attending to other vehicles that have gone off the road in this area of the province.

Twelve kilometres west of Regina on Highway No. 1, RCMP have received a report of a vehicle sliding off into the median and are en route to the scene. Visibility is extremely poor in this area as well.

RCMP in Kindersley are also attending to collisions in that detachment area and reports from there indicate wind and poor visibility are affecting travel.

RCMP remind motorists to check the highway hotline prior to commencing travel today as conditions are less than ideal. Also, dress for the weather outside of your vehicle so you are prepared should you have to exit your vehicle. Leave yourself plenty of time to reach your destination should you absolutely have to travel today.
