Expenses from last summer’s flooding in Carrot River are climibing
Kevin Trew, the town’s administrator, has found that $200,000 has been spent on flood-related expenses. This includes $56,000 recently spent on two new sewer pumps.
“We know we probably won’t get that full amount,” said Trew after the Dec. 21 council meeting. He noted that he can submit the claim at any time.
Bob Gagné, the town’s mayor, added that the town has a $76,000 deductible that will reduce the amount eventually received for the $200,000 in expenses.
