TISDALE — A public barbeque in the Tisdale Town Square will be held to thank the first responders that attended the collision at the Armley corner.
The premier will be one of many people at the event.
The event will be held May 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. If weather is poor, it will be moved to the nearby Civic Centre.
“Please advise your community’s first responders as we would be honoured to have them attend and join our community in thanking them for everything they do,” wrote Al Jellicoe, Tisdale’s mayor in a letter.
Other dignitaries speaking at the event will include MP Randy Hoback, MLA Fred Bradshaw and Jellicoe.
