Purse nabbings among incidents

North Battleford RCMP received more than40 calls for service between 6 a.m. Friday, July 4 and 6 a.m. Saturday, July 5, includingfivefalse/nuisance 911 calls,three false alarms,three assistance to Social Services occurrences and five traffic complaints.

Friday

11:32a.m. - Complaint through 911 regarding child custody issues. Referred to family court.

12:35a.m. - Complaint of stolen propane tank from the 1400 block of 114th Street. Investigation ongoing.

12:44p.m. - Report of underage people drinking at a business in the 900 block of 101st Street. No underage people located, however a 20-year-old male was arrested on warrants and has been remanded to court inPrince Albert.

4:47p.m. - Complaint of a dog left inside a vehicle in a parking lot on 101st Street. Members attended but vehicle had left.

5:14p.m. - Report of an intoxicated male sleeping outside of a residence in the 900 block of 106th Street. A 45-year-old male was arrested and lodged for sobering.

9:38p.m. - Call of a domestic assault in the 2300 block of Killdeer Drive. A 31-year-old female was arrested and later released with charges pending.

9:42p.m. - Complaint of a male breaching no contact conditions. Investigation ongoing.

10:07p.m. - Report of a male and female fighting in the 1600 block of 105th Street. Police attended but no fight occurring.

10:09 pm - Report of an intoxicated male on the north end of 100th Street. Male not located.

10:28p.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated male urinating on a dumpster in the alley in the 1200 block of 100th Street. A 41-year-old male was arrested and lodged for sobering.

10:52p.m. - Report of theft of a purse from a business in the 1100 block of 101st Street. Police were in the area and observed a male running with a purse.The 29-year-old malewas arrested and the purse was recovered. He was released for court with charges pending.

11:20p.m. - Complaint of a female assaulted and robbed of her purse at a business in the 900 block of 101st Street. A 23- and 26-year-old male and an 18- and 22-year-old female were arrested and are currently in custody and charges are pending. The investigation is ongoing.

11:58p.m. - Report of a female that assaulted another female in the 1700 block of 110th Street. A 17-year-old female was arrested and is facing a charge of assault.

Saturday

12:11 a.m. - Complaint of intoxicated people outside a residence in the 1600 block of 104th Street talking about kicking a door in. Police attended and spoke to a male subject in the area. No damage noted.

12:33 a.m.- Complaint of a large fight in the 1500 block of 105th Street. Police attended and no one located fighting.

1:04/1:06 a.m. - Complaints of awindow smashed in the 800 block of 107th Street. Investigation ongoing.

4:17 a.m. - Report of a brother and sister arguing at a residence in the 1300 block of 103rd Street. Mediated by members.

4:49 a.m. - Complaint of a male assaulting people at a residence in the 1200 block of 107th Street and having a knife. Members attended and found that no assault occurred, and no knife used.

5:16/5:17 a.m. - Complaints received of an intoxicated male causing problems and refusing to pay a cab fare. Male was arrested and lodged for sobering.
