Among 95 people who were awarded Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medals Tuesday in Saskatoon were Lin Radchenko of Sonningdale and Stu Irvine of Cochin.
The medal was created to mark the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's accession to the throne as Queen of Canada and honours significant contributions and achievements by Canadians.
During the year of celebrations, 60,000 Canadians will be recognized.
