Rapid Alert test Friday

Friday 4 at around 1:30 p.m., the City of North Battleford will conduct a test on the new mass notification system, Rapid Alert. The test will allow residents to become familiarized with emergency notifications they may receive in the future.

The test will allow residents to become familiarized with emergency notifications they may receive in the future. For this test messages will not be left on voice mail. Residents of North Battleford are encouraged to sign up to Rapid Alert at:

About Rapid Alert
The City of North Battleford will use the North Battleford Rapid Alert emergency notification system to alert residents about a variety of events, ranging from severe weather, fires, floods and other emergencies. Messages will be sent to residents on their preferred contact paths—cell phone, SMS, home phone, email, fax, pager and more – to ensure real-time access to potentially lifesaving information.
