Paul Bec of Turtle Lake has been collecting since age five and his amazing assortment of everything from blacksmith tools to the house he lives in goes up for auction Thursday.

"A sale like this only shows up once a year," said Kim Kramer of Kramer Auctions.

The rare lifetime collection of Paul Bec is going to auction next week, and "Everything must go that day," said Bec.

Kramer Auctions will be at Evergreen Acres, Turtle Lake on Thursday, July 21 to auction what Bec described as "pretty much anything you could ever think of."

He's been collecting since he was five years old. In fact, the collection is so notable he tells us CBC once filmed a documentary on the interesting antiques he's accumulated over the years.

The auction features blacksmith tools, horse tack, old shop tools and all sorts of rare and unusual items including antique clocks, lamps, signs, dishes, jewellery, the list goes on.

Also listed in the auction is five acres of pristine land at Evergreen Acres.

"The only thing between him and the lake is the golf course," said Kramer.

The property includes a beautiful 2,300 square foot walkout home and a 2,000 square foot workshop.

Not listed in the auction is a 1983 Mercedes Benz.

The bidding starts at 10 a.m. for personal property and 1 p.m. for real estate.
