Battlefords RCMP conducted more than 50 investigations between 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25.
Monday, Oct. 24
10:09 a.m. - Four break and enters to residences reported/discovered on Alfred Crescent in Cochin. All appear to have occurred over the previous night.
11:24 a.m. - Report of a storage shed broken into near a residence on the Moosomin First Nation. Nothing reported missing, some minor damage discovered.
12:27 p.m. - Report of threats being made via social media. Suspect and victim are known to each other and both appear to reside in North Battleford. Remains under investigation.
4:04 p.m. - A 39-year-old man and 27-year-old woman were arrested on Railway Avenue East after a reported disturbance at a hotel. Man was found to be intoxicated and in violation of several court orders. He is facing two counts of failing to comply with undertakings and will be appearing in North Battleford Provincial Court Tuesday. The woman was later released from custody without charges.
4:10 p.m. - Report of harassment made, ongoing problem for some time.
4:41 p.m. - Break and enter to a residence on Clement Crescent in Cochin reported.
7:07 p.m. – A 15-year-old male is facing a charge of failing to comply with probation after a residence compliance check at a residence in the Cochin district.
11:15 p.m. - Report of a vehicle fire on Highway 4 south. No one located near vehicle and no one was injured.
Tuesday, Oct. 25
12:43 a.m. - Vehicle parked on 1700 block of 99th Street had a window damaged.
1:52 a.m. - Vehicle fire in a back yard on the 1600 block of 101st Street in North Battleford. Fire attended and extinguished fire. No injuries reported. Remains under investigation.
1:58 a.m. - Report of an attempted break and enter to a residence on Alfred Crescent in Cochin. Witnesses heard noise and reported incident.
2:31 a.m. - Business break and enter reported on the 1600 block of 100th Street. A window to the building was found damaged to gain entry. Matter still under investigation.
2:53 a.m. - Report of a stolen 2008 blue GMC 4x4 pickup from Edam. Vehicle last seen at 9 p.m. Has Saskatchewan licence CXD 777.
3:12 a.m. - Police called to a residence on the Red Pheasant First Nation reporting three males breaking into a home. Three fled with a small amount of property. One suspect was believed to be in possession of a firearm and a second had an edged weapon. No one was injured in the incident. Matter remains under investigation.
Police arrested two people for alcohol and/or minor disturbance offences, completed 12 traffic investigations, one bylaw matter, one child welfare investigation, 10 minor disturbance calls, two minor collisions reported, one missing person who has already been located and one alarm responded to.
