Rash of the thefts investigated

Aug. 14 was a banner day for local crime, with three incidents being investigated by Battlefords RCMP. A break and enter occurred at a residence on the 1400 block of 108th Street Aug. 14.

A break and enter occurred at a residence on the 1400 block of 108th Street Aug. 14.

A black purse and contents was stolen from a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer that was parked on Hamelin Street.

A 2003 Dodge truck, parked on the 2500 block of 100th Street was entered and a GPS was stolen.

Sometime during the early morning hours of Aug. 20 a wallet was stolen from a vehicle 20 parked on the 900 block of 105th Street.

Anyone who has information for this or any other crime is asked to call the Battlefords RCMP or Crime Stoppers.

William Morras Taylor, 45: assault; failure to comply with probation; failure to comply with an undertaking.

Monte Lee Wright, 37: possession of child pornography.

Eugene Harold Swiftwolfe, 26: assault.

Ryan James Schultz, 33: assault; failure to appear.

William Marcel Cuthand , 26: impaired operation of a motor vehicle; refusal to provide breath sample; resisting arrest; possession of stolen property, two counts of breach of probation.
