The Maidstone RCMP and Battlefords RCMP are cautioning recreational boaters and users of the North Saskatchewan River to be mindful of the ongoing cleanup being done.
There are several temporary operational sites being used, five of which are along the North Saskatchewan River between Maidstone and the Battlefords.
Several boats are on the water at this time from different agencies as part of the clean up procedure underway in response to an oil spill from a pipeline near Maidstone.
"Please be respectful of those working on the river," say RCMP.
