The case of an RCMP officer charged with impaired driving came up in North Battleford provincial court Monday.

Tyson Drabinasty is charged with impaired driving and driving over .08. He was involved in a collision with a pedestrian at 12:45 am on July 3rd. He was not on duty at the time.

Lawyers have agreed to adjourn his case to Aug, 29, again in North Battleford provincial court, as they plan to consult further on logistical matters regarding the case. It was indicated in court that a judge may need to be brought in from out of province to hear the case.
