Update: RCMP investigate thefts in the northwest

Turtleford RCMP were advised of a theft of quad from a residence in the town of Turtleford that occurred overnight on Oct. 5.

MEDSTEAD, GLASLYN, ST. WALBURG - The RCMP Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory has issued alerts on the theft of a car being investigated by Glaslyn RCMP, of a pickup being investigated by St. Walburg RCMP and of a quad being investigated by Turtleford RCMP.

On Oct. 6, Glaslyn RCMP Detachment received a theft of motor vehicle complaint from a rural land location in the RM of Medstead.

The stolen car has been described as a 2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue, white in colour, SK license plate 654MII. The theft occurred overnight last night. Police continue to investigate this occurrence and are seeking public assistance.

Turtleford RCMP were advised of a theft of quad from a residence in the town of Turtleford that occurred overnight on Oct. 5. The quad is described as a red, Honda 300 4x4. There is a black wooden tool box attached on the front of quad and a black two up seat with side compartments on the back. Police continue to investigate this occurrence and are seeking the public's assistance.

On Oct. 7, St. Walburg RCMP Detachment received a theft of motor vehicle complaint from a rural land location in the RM of Frenchman Butte. The stolen pickup truck has been described as a 2008 Chev Silverado, black in colour, SK license plate 415MEP. The truck has a silver handle on the tailgate. Shortly after police received a report of a grey minivan in the RM of Frenchman Butte attempting to steal a vehicle. Police continue to investigate this occurrence and are seeking public assistance.
