Three down, one to go.
The Humboldt RCMP are still searching for one of four suspects who ran from police in Bruno on September 19.
A member of the Humboldt RCMP had pulled over a suspicious vehicle which had been spotted driving slowly down a back alley west of Main St. in Bruno around 1 a.m. on that date. When the vehicle stopped, all four people inside jumped out and fled.
Other RCMP members were called to the scene to assist in locating the four suspects.
Two of the four were found and arrested by police just hours after the incident, reported Const. Keven Bauer of the Humboldt RCMP.
A 20-year-old male appeared in Humboldt Provincial Court on September 19, was remanded into police custody, and then appeared in Saskatoon Provincial Court later in the week. He has been remanded into police custody once again, awaiting an October 3 court appearance in Saskatoon.
He is facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime, possession of break-in instruments, obstructing a peace officer, and failing to comply with a probation order.
The other occupant of the vehicle located that day, a 24-year-old male, had been wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant for violating his parole. He was transported to the penitentiary in Prince Albert and has yet to be charged for his involvement in this incident.
RCMP have not released the names of these two individuals at this time.
A third suspect was then located on September 21. The female youth was found and arrested at her home in Porcupine Plain by members of the Porcupine Plain RCMP detachment.
She was transported to the Humboldt detachment, and remanded until a court appearance in Saskatoon.
She is facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime, possession of break-in instruments, obstructing a peace officer, and two counts of failing to comply with a recognizance order.
Her name cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, as she is under the age of 18.
RCMP are continuing to search for the fourth suspect involved in this incident, Bauer reported, adding that the investigation is ongoing and further charges could be laid against the four individuals.
