The Maidstone RCMP are advising that travel on highways between Marshall and Paynton are snow covered.

The visibility on the highways is reduced due to blowing snow and the surface is icy in some spots. The roads continue to deteriorate with the inclement weather.

"We encourage motorists to be careful as the snow melts as well," say RCMP.

This includes Highway 16, Highway 17, Highway 21 and all surrounding secondary highways.

The RCMP is urging drivers to use extreme caution and please consider winter driving conditions when travelling.

Please check the Highway Hotline (http://hotline.gov.sk.ca/) or 1-888-335-7623 before travelling.
