Regional leaders to host luncheon, keynote speaker Brett Wilson

The leaders who have signed on to the Sacichawasihc Relationship Agreement are holding a special community luncheon on April 3.

The event is at the Tropical Inn from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and lunch is being provided. There is no cost to attend.

News of the event circulated at Battleford’s town council meeting on Monday night. According to the invitation notice, the signatories to the relationship agreement – Mayors Ryan Bater and Ames Leslie, and Chiefs Kenny Moccasin, Brad Swiftwolfe, Crystal Okemow Lori Whitecalf and Wayne Semaganis – are inviting people to “attend a very important community luncheon, an event that celebrates the background, purpose and vision of working together within the ‘Sacichawasihc Relationship Agreement.’ We the Regional Leaders invite you to come out and learn more about this important work and our visions of building a better Battlefords region.”

It’s also been announced that W. Brett Wilson has been confirmed as the guest keynote speaker at the event.
