The Battlefords RCMP detachment received approximately 100 calls for service between 6 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5 and 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8.

Included in those calls were14 traffic complaints or minor collisions,four false or nuisance 911 calls,23 municipal bylaw or disturbance complaints,two fraud complaints,four Child Welfare or Family Agreement investigations,two found property complaints and eight false alarms.

Friday

9:01 a.m. - Graffiti to a picnic table on the 700 block of 102nd Street.

12:10 p.m. - Report of ongoing harassment via text message. Investigation ongoing.

1:50 p.m. - Report of an assault against two children under 12.Investigation completed and a 33-year-old woman is facing two counts of assault. She has since been released from custody and set to appear in court at a later date. Her name will not be released to protect the identity of the two alleged victims in this matter.

5:15 p.m. - A 38-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman are facing charges of possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime less than $5,000 after a vehicle stop on Highway 16 on the west side of city.The 42-year-old woman has also been charged with two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.Two other occupants of the vehicle were arrested but have since been released without charges.

5:57 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision near 15th Avenue and 100th Street.Occupants from both vehicles transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Initial investigation indicates one vehicle was struck by a second vehicle at intersection controlled by traffic lights.Cause remains under investigation.

5:58 p.m. - Report of two missing youths from a group home. Both returned home a short time after report.

7:39 p.m. - Youth attempted to steal a vehicle on 8th Avenue.Owner was loading a truck for a weekend trip and found the youth attempting to drive vehicle away.Youth was apprehending and held at scene by complainant and arrested by police.A 12-year-old has been charged with theft a motor vehicle and failing to comply with an undertaking. Youth remains in custody and appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court Monday morning.

8:10 p.m. - 13 and 14-year-old youths both charged with breach of probation. They were found together on 10th Avenue in violation of conditions to have no contact with one another.

10:12 p.m. - 28-year-old man arrested and charged with driving while disqualified after vehicle check on Railway Avenue East.

10:58 p.m. - 31-year-old man arrested and facing one count of breach of probation after complaint of intoxicated man on 100th Street showing signs of having been in a fight.Subject found with minor injuries to his hand, but would not provide any details on how he was injured.

11:00 p.m. - 46-year-old man arrested for mischief, located sleeping in a lobby on 101st Street.

11:32 p.m. - Call of a man damaging a bathroom faucet at hospital. Suspect described as about 6 feet tall, thin, Caucasian, wearing black t-shirt, jeans andhad tattoos on his arms.

Saturday

12:39 a.m. - Call of a suspicious person wandering through a yard on 100th Street.Subject located, found to be intoxicated and went to wrong home. Driven to correct location by member.

12:57 a.m. - Complaint of intoxicated youth causing a disturbance on 100th Street. A 15-year-old youth arrested and charged with obstruction for providing a false name, and a 17-year-old youth arrested forpublic intoxication.

2:24 a.m. -28-year-old man arrested and charged with driving while impaired, refusing to provide a breath sample and three counts of failing to comply with an undertaking after a vehicle stop on Highway 4.A 19-year-old passenger in the vehicle was also arrested during the stop and is now charged with three counts of failing to comply with an undertaking and uttering threats. Both remanded in custody and appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court Monday morning.

2:58 a.m. - 29-year-old man arrested and charged with impaired driving and driving while over .08 after vehicle stop on Railway Avenue East.

8:18 a.m. - Theft of gasoline from a business on Highway 16.Suspect vehicle described as a yellow Jeep towing a trailer with a United States license from an unknown State.

9:05 a.m. - Home on 1400 block of 108th Street had eggs thrown at windows some time during the night.

6:05 p.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated man refusing to leave a Liquor License premises on 101st Street.57-year-old man located, arrested and charged with failing to comply with undertaking.

6:27 p.m. - 46-year-old man arrested and charged with failing to comply with undertaking and a 40-year-old man was arrested and charged with causing a disturbance after report of two very intoxicated persons bothering people on 101st Street.

8:17 p.m. - Report of an assault at a residence on 1500 block of 103rd Street. No injuries reported.Suspect is known to victim and no longer at residence at time of complaint.Matter remains under investigation. No charges have yet been laid.

8:51 p.m. - Collision between a vehicle and a motor bike at an intersection on 2200 block of 100th Street.Driver of the motorcycle transported to hospital with leg/pelvis injuries.17-year-old driver of the car has been charged with proceeding from a stop sign before safe.

9:48 p.m. - 911 call to a residence on 500 block of 102nd street of people arguing and fighting.Subjects warned about noise.

Sunday

12:01 a.m. - Call of a vehicle striking and damaging playground equipment at a school on the 900 block of 107th Street.33-year-old man was arrested on scene and has been charged with impaired driving, driving over .08 and mischief.

12:26 a.m. - Report of an assault in a parking lot on east side of city.One man was unconscious and transported to hospital for treatment. His injuries at this time are not believed to be life threatening. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

5:10 a.m. - 32-year-old woman arrested and charged with driving while disqualified, found operating a vehicle on 11th Avenue without any headlights on.

5:41 a.m. - Very intoxicated caller contacting 911 because her adult son is refusing to come upstairs to calm her down because she is drunk and her son is the only person who can calm her down.Charged for making a false/frivolous 911 call.

10:11 a.m. - Window to a business on Thompson Crescent damaged some time overnight.

10:11 a.m. - Report of a window at an apartment damaged on St Laurent Drive.Suspect described as wearing a yellow shirt.

10:52 a.m. - Report of an assault witnessed by a third party on 100th Street.Suspect and alleged victim no longer in area.Investigation ongoing.

12:35 p.m. - Complaint of harassment/stalking. No charges pursued as per wishes of the complainant. Suspect was warned about behaviour.

1:22 p.m. - 45-year-old man arrested and charged with public intoxication after being found sleeping on sidewalk off 101st Street.

4:31 p.m. - Bike stolen from a yard on Asquith Avenue.

5:06 p.m. - 13-year-old youth arrested for assault after a complaint from a group home of a youth who was out of control.Subject has since been released. No charges pursued at this time.

7:16 p.m. - 42-year-old woman arrested for public intoxication, attended to detachment looking for a friend and found to be grossly intoxicated and largely incoherent.Held in custody until sober.Good news is the friend was also in custody.

7:50 p.m. - 78-year-old man arrested and charged with failing to comply with undertaking. Found heavily intoxicated on 101st Street.

11:02 p.m. - Attempted theft from a motor vehicle on Bennett Crescent. Suspect frightened off by car alarm.

Monday

1243 a.m. - Man located on Ross Crescent very intoxicated and suffering from face and head injuries. Indications are subject was at a house party earlier and assaulted.Transported to hospital for treatment and investigation is ongoing.
