Battlefords RCMP responded to approximately 60 calls for service from 6 a.m., Jan. 5 to 6 a.m., Jan. 6. including the following:
Thursday, Jan. 5
6:03 a.m. - 2007 Chevrolet Silverado with license 901DYH reported stolen from 1700 block of 100th Street in North Battleford.
12:23 p.m. - Break and enter to a garage on the 900 block of 111th Street in North Battleford reported.
4:31 p.m. - A 38-year-old woman arrested and facing charges of Assault and Failing to Comply with an Undertaking after a reported disturbance at a residence on the 1200 block of 107th Street in North Battleford. Victim suffered minor injuries in the incident. Both parties are known to each other.
5:21 p.m. - Report of an assault at a residence on the 1000 block of 108th Street in North Battleford involving two adult women known to each other. No arrests have been made and matter remains under investigation.
5:58 p.m. - Youth arrested for theft after a shoplifting report at a business on Railway Avenue East in North Battleford.
6:02 p.m. - Report of an assault at a residence on 98th Street in North Battleford alleged to have occurred in the early morning hours of the previous evening.
8:16 p.m. - A 29-year-old male arrested and charged with Assault and Failing to Comply with an Undertaking after a reported incident of domestic violence at a residence on the 1100 block of 111th Street in North Battleford. Accused remains in custody and is appearing in North Battleford Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6.
8:28 p.m. - Report of a male suspect who approached another male sitting in his car on the 1400 block of 97th Street in North Battleford, opened the car door and assaulted the male sitting in the car by punching him in the face before walking away. The suspect was located and arrested without incident. Charges of assault and mischief are currently pending.
8:30 p.m. - Report of a suspect fraudulently cashing another person's cheque in North Battleford. The matter remains under investigation.
9:43 p.m. - A 37-year-old male arrested and charged with assault after a reported domestic violence incident at a residence on the 1400 block of 101st Street in North Battleford.
11:12 p.m. - Report of a break and enter to a garage on Deans Crescent in North Battleford.
Friday, Jan. 6
12:12 a.m. - A 20-year-old male arrested and facing three counts of Breach of Probation after a report of a male causing a disturbance outside a residence on the 600 block of 103rd Street in North Battleford.
3:22 a.m - Report of a stolen pickup truck on 25th Street in Battleford. Vehicle was recovered a short time later. The matter remains under investigation.
3:43 a.m. - Report of an assault at a residence south of Battleford. Accused fled scene prior to members arrival. Charges of assault are currently pending against the adult male accused and the matter remains under investigation.
Police arrested four person(s) for alcohol/disturbance related offences, responded to four 911 calls, 18 disturbance complaints, one child welfare incident, two fraud complaints, three traffic matters and two bylaw complaints.
