Another subdivision application by the RM of North Battleford has caught the attention of city officials in North Battleford.
The proposed subdivision would be just west of Millar Road, north of Forest Hall Road north of the city. It calls for eight residential lots.
But the issue for the city is traffic on Territorial Drive going to that area.
The City unanimously passed a resolution July 20 advising the Community Planning Branch are concerns over the traffic impact of the proposed subdivision onto City infrastructure, specifically Millar Road and Territorial Drive.
The resolution also called for a traffic impact assessment on Territorial Drive and that any recommended or required upgrades or changes that arise from this study should be developed before subdivision approval, with the costs associated with the study and upgrades borne solely by the developer.
