Robbery investigated

Battlefords RCMP are investigating a robbery the occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in the area of 17th Avenue and 96th Street in the city of North Battleford. Police say two men approached a third man sitting in a parked vehicle.

Battlefords RCMP are investigating a robbery the occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in the area of 17th Avenue and 96th Street in the city of North Battleford.

Police say two men approached a third man sitting in a parked vehicle. One of the men displayed a can of bear spray, while the other man reached into the vehicle and removed a bag containing cash before both suspects fled the area, police say.

The  victim was not injured during the interaction.

One of the perpetrators was described as being approximately 6’ tall, First Nation, about 18 to 21 years of age with a slim build and a thin moustache. Both men were wearing black, flat brimmed ball caps.
