A 29-year-old man from North Battleford has died following a rollover.
Sunday at approximately 4:07 a.m., members from the RCMP Battleford Rural Detachment received a call regarding a single motor vehicle collision that occurred east of North Battleford on a grid road near Highway 16 and East Hill Road.
The driver of a vehicle travelling on the grid road lost control at a curve in the roadway and rolled over, according to the police. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased is not being released at this time pending consent from the family.
The vehicle involved was a silver/grey GMC Envoy SUV.
An RCMP re-constructionist attended the scene to assist with the investigation, which is ongoing. Traffic on Highway 16 was not affected.
