A rural area building was a total loss after going up in flames early Monday morning.
North Battleford Fire Department was called to the fire at 3:16 a.m. A structure located 22 kilometres east on Highway 16 and west on Lilac Road was engulfed in flames when the six firefighters arrived on the scene.
According to NBFD, a second building on the site was saved from the fire.
The firefighters, two pumpers, a tanker and a utility truck were on the scene for more than five and a half hours.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
There were no injuries reported.
