After months of work, the new Sarcan location has opened on the corner of 13th Street and 5th Avenue.

The new location is three times the size of their previous location on 2nd Street with 4,800 square feet of space for workers and customers.

Imagine going into your workplace and getting three times the space, says Northwest Regional Manager, Chantelle Diakuw.

“How would that feel in your average work day about your ability to get your job done in an efficient manner. That’s what these guys are really getting.”

Employees have more than just a big space, but also their own built in water system at their stations so bays can be cleaned after every customer.

Diakuw says this is the first Sarcan in her region that has this.

Before this system, employees cleaned the bay with soap and water whenever they were able.

“It’s really easy for the employees to use and it’s much more pleasant for the customers to come to a clean bay every time,” says Diakuw.

The back of the work area also has a drainage system so washing machinery and floors is a lot easier for workers.

They are live, she says, with the first full day of customers being on March 28 with many positive comments.

“Everybody’s really positive about it. The front  of the depot is so bright and there is so much room for customers,” says Diakuw.

Customers are even enjoying the drop and go service with an area dedicated to drop and go customers, says Diakuw.
