The Saskatoon Police Service has laid its first charge under The Public Health Act, 1994.
Last weekend, police received several complaints regarding a group of people that had attended to several downtown businesses to protest the wearing of masks. In consultation with Public Health Inspectors, Police have issued a $2,800 fine to one of the key participants under The Public Health Act, 1994.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
