Jordan Schlosser is a 17 year-old high school student in the small town of Bruno, Saskatchewan.

While taking part in the work experience program, the 17 year-old had spent January 26-30 at the Humboldt Journal. While she was at the Journal, she had the opportunity to dive into the world of news and journalism.

It was also during this time that she was able to go to different events and interviews happening in the city of Humboldt. She had described her overall experience at the Journal to be a positive and educational one.

This year, Jordan is Bruno School’s 2014-2015 Yearbook Club co-editor along with being a co-leader that organizes a variety of different spirit events for the house of Sparta. She has been dancing ever since she had learned to walk and currently dances as senior at DK Dance Visions in Humboldt.

Although she lives in the middle of the continent, her passion for the water is not diminished as she is certified as an open-water scuba diver and as a lifeguard. Jordan is very passionate about writing and is very happy to have gotten this opportunity through the work experience program.
