An 18-year-old man has been charged in relation to a homicide that occurred Feb. 1 on the Star Blanket First Nation.
Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP say the man was arrested shortly after a 17-year-old male was located deceased in his residence after a report of an altercation.
Shauntay Keewatin of the Star Blanket First Nation has been charged with second-degree murder. He made his first court appearance in Fort Qu'Appelle Provincial Court Monday.
At the request of the family, the name of the deceased will not be released.
