Serial runaway returned to home twice within two hours

It was another busy 24 hours for Battlefords RCMP as members responded to more than 30 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 22 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, April 23.

It was another busy 24 hours for Battlefords RCMP as members responded to more than 30 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 22 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, April 23.


Included in those responses were four traffic related complaints, four noise/bylaw complaints and one false/nuisance 911 call.


Tuesday


10:21 a.m. - Satellite radio stolen from a vehicle parked on Martin Crescent overnight.


10:35 a.m. - 13-year-old girl reported missing, last seen 6 p.m. previous night. Located by members at an address on 104th Street and returned home.


12:14 p.m. - Vehicle parked on Douglas Avenue gone through during night, small amount of money taken.


12:21 p.m. - Same 13-year-old girl reported missing again, this time along with her 15-year-old sister. Located a short time later by members and returned home again.


12:33 p.m. - Mischief to a window of a business on 100th Street, front window damaged. 


2:20 p.m. - Three youth offenders unlawfully at large from youth facility. Ran from staff while on escorted leave. Last seen in area of 8th Avenue and 99th Street. Three youths, ages 13, 16 and 17 are all from the North Battleford area.


7:19 p.m. - Report of an assault on 111th Street. No injuries. All parties known to one another, and complainants then advised they wanted no police actions taken.


8:08 p.m. - Break-in to a residence on 1100 block of 111th Street, sometime during weekend.


8:25 p.m. - 41-year-old man arrested for public intoxication after report of man sleeping off Carlton Trail.


9:15 p.m. - 53-year-old woman arrested for public intoxication on Railway Avenue East, after going into a restaurant and trying to take food from some customers' tables. Located outside and arrested without incident.


9:25 p.m. - 50-year-old man arrested for public intoxication after another report of a man sleeping near Carlton Trail.


9:39 p.m. - 15-year-old man reported missing from group home. Located by members at a residence in city shortly after midnight and returned.


Wednesday


1:05 a.m. - Report of home on Bowers Drive having eggs thrown at it.


1:21 a.m. - Harassing phone calls being received by subject known to complainant. Ongoing issue.


5:31 a.m. - Vehicle parked on 2000 block of 96th Street had side window damaged overnight.
