The Maidstone RCMP are reporting a week with 100 occurrences between June 26 and July 2. Some of the most common calls received were related to break and enter, liquor offences and conditions breaches.

Calls of Interest
June 26, Maidstone RCMP was dispatched to a call of a disturbance in Marshall. It was reported a woman had damaged a truck and two men were involved in an altercation with her. RCMP arrived and three individuals, two men and one woman, were arrested. Police continue to investigate and no charges have been laid at this time.
June 27, police attended a residence in Maidstone for a reported conditions breach by a 58-year-old man. Police attended and found an intoxicated man at the residence who was on a series of conditions. He was arrested for breaching those conditions and lodged. He was brought before a judge the next day.
June 27, Maidstone RCMP were called regarding open alcohol and rowdy people on the beach at Sandy Beach Regional Park. Police attended and warned a group of youth regarding open liquor. No other offences were noted and no formal charges were laid.
June 28, Maidstone RCMP and the Enhanced Policing Unit attended a rural location near Waseca for a reported break and enter where several vehicles were stolen. Sometime between 3and 6 p.m. two trucks came to the location and stole two motorbikes (one being a Kawasaki Ninja), a red Polaris 400 ATV, a Kawasaki side-by-side as well as tools and other items. The investigation is ongoing.
June 29, a break and enter was reported at a rural location in the RM of Britannia. It was reported that eight rifles, ammunition and cash were stolen. All the stolen property was secured at the time of the thefts. The Maidstone RCMP is working in conjunction with the Lloydminster RCMP GIS and Crime Reduction Unit and the investigation is ongoing,
June 30, a complaint of an RV being all over the road was received through 911. Police patrolled Highway 16 near Maidstone and located the RV. A 31-year-old man from Fort McMurray, Alta., was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. Charges have not yet been laid on this file.
On July 2, the Enhanced Policing Unit was on patrol on Highway 17 north of Lloydminster when a 2002 Green Mazda Protégé (with Saskatchewan plate 944JMC) was stopped for provincial offences. As police approached the vehicle it fled north towards Alcurve, Alta. At the time there were several vehicles on the highway and it was deemed too dangerous to pursue.
