Snow has fallen, the weather has cooled off to below freezing, and a host of organizations in the Battlefords have begun the "Share the Warmth" winter clothing recycling program.

The Battlefords District Food and Resource Centre, the Battlefords Boys and Girls Club, Living Sky School Division and Light of Christ Roman Catholic School Division have all partnered to collect clean, used children's and adults' winter clothing to be distributed to families and individuals in need in the community.

Until Nov. 25, clothing can be dropped off at Share the Warmth collection points, which will be located at local schools, and at Food Bank collection bins at Sobeys, Co-op Market Place and Super A Foods. Donations can also be left from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday, at the Battlefords District Food and Resource Centre located at 1171 -101st St. in North Battleford.
