One of the three suspects in the Sept. 1 shooting incident has been remanded by consent to Oct. 16.
Justin Fineday appeared by closed-circuit TV before North Battleford provincial court on Wednesday morning. He is currently being held in custody in Saskatoon.
Lawyers indicated in court Wednesday before Judge David Kaiser that alternate counsel is being sought for Fineday in advance of his next appearance. As well, lawyers indicated they are seeking to have the matters for all three of the accused brought together on the same date.
